Salary – Up to £40,800, plus a car allowance of £5,600 What you’ll be doing In this pivotal role, you will lead and promote health, safety, and environmental best practices across all operational activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. You’ll play a critical part in fostering a culture where safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your day-to-day will include: Providing direct support to the Senior UK HSE Manager. Ensuring completion of HSE reports and KPIs accurately and on time. Assisting in managing and developing management systems for the achievement of ISO45001/14001/50001. Delivering training to colleagues in a variety of health and safety related courses. Assisting with visits from Local Authorities, Health and Safety Executive, Environment Agency and other third-party agencies. Providing evidence packs and assisting with liability claims. Undertaking any such additional duties required that are within the capability and level of the position. What you’ll bring to the team We’re looking for a proactive problem-solver, who has a proven track record of delivering exceptional HSE performance. To succeed in this role, you’ll need: Level 6 Diploma in Health and Safety. Excellent communication skills to engage colleagues at all levels and mentor the HSE advisory team. Possess skills to train, coach, mentor, advise and be a support for line management. A broad understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental issues and a passion to continually improve HSE performance. Possess strong leadership skills with the ability to value teamwork above all. Proven organisational transformation skills. Experience in continuous improvements, audits, developing management systems and producing KPI's. Experience in risk assessment in all areas of Health, Safety and Environmental.
