Your opportunity will be crucial in ensuring the safety and compliance of our major civil construction projects across Victoria. You will be at the forefront of creating a safe and secure work environment on-site for our Major Projects Division.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct site inspections, mentor teams, and ensure compliance with OFSC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards. Drive proactive safety culture through best practice implementation and continuous improvement initiatives. Report on HSE performance, manage incident investigations, and oversee corrective actions. Train and develop staff, enhance subcontractor management, and ensure prequalification standards. Support procurement processes to engage compliant subcontractors and maintain site safety records. The successful candidate will hold a Diploma or higher qualification in Occupational Health and Safety and possess over five years of practical experience in civil construction, particularly on Major Roads projects.
