An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to complement our HR Team. We are looking to appoint a Senior Human Resources Adviser. Successful applicants will be expected to manage a varied complex caseload including sickness absence, disciplinary, grievances, workforce investigations, appeals, and cases. You will also support our stakeholders at various stages throughout the employee relations process, including at formal case hearings and case management. You will be responsible for providing a pro-active and efficient ER service, supporting the on-site Managers and key stakeholders. Hybrid:

in resource (multi locations – Golders Green, Stanmore, Friern Barnet, Essex) 2 days home working What you will be doing:

Quickly and effectively establishing positive working relationships with HR colleagues in the wider team and demonstrating an understanding of the Jewish Care Strategic Vision and Values. Pro-actively seeking opportunities to build relationships on site and provide professional advice with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an effective HR service to the organisation. Advising managers on our HR policies and procedures with a pragmatic solution-based approach but always within the guidance of Employment Law regulations. Gaining credibility to become a go-to critical friend for managers when dealing with change and culture shift. Providing advice on any proposed re-organisation structures and helping deliver, mitigating risk. Providing advice on any redundancy process to avoid unfair practice. Providing advice and support to managers on all aspects of employee relations including absence, performance, disciplinary, and grievance issues. Being responsible for efficient outcomes to close ER cases within a specified time frame. Experience of working with Trade Unions. What you will need:

CIPD qualified level 5. Experience of ET1 and ET3 Tribunal processes, including the preparation of organised and chronological bundles. Experience of working within a multi-site, unionised environment. Experience of managing a varied complex caseload including sickness absence, disciplinary, grievances, workforce investigations, appeals, and cases. Knowledge of a wide breadth of issues including redundancy, consultations, gross misconduct, safeguarding, and dismissals. Ability to touch type at speed and be proficient in all Microsoft packages including Excel.
