About the Role: At FPC Life Sciences, we provide unrivalled service in Project Execution, Project Definition, Front-End Project Delivery and Technical PMO Support to drive the success of our Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical clients' investment programs. Our focus is on ensuring project success and fulfilling stakeholder aspirations through a quality-driven, people-centred approach. We are looking for an experienced Senior HVAC and Utilities Engineer with a solid understanding of the Life Sciences industry to oversee the design, installation, and operational readiness of essential HVAC and utility systems within the facilities of our clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and broader life sciences sectors. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of HVAC and Utility systems within our pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and other life sciences clients’ facilities. Oversee installation and commissioning, ensuring systems meet regulatory, operational and client requirements. Provide technical leadership and expertise in HVAC and Utility Systems across multiple client projects. Collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery. Ensure continuous improvement and optimisation of systems to reduce energy consumption and increase operational and energy efficiency. Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Extensive experience (10+ years) in HVAC and Utility management, with a specific focus on clean utilities within the Life Sciences industry (pharmaceutical, biotech, etc.). Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and compliance requirements. Proven track record of delivering successful projects. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex technical challenges. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Location: This position is based in the UK and will require travel to client sites across the UK and other locations globally as required.
