Our client is looking to recruit a

Senior IFA Administrator

to join their independent financial planning business, as part of their organic growth strategy.

The business is independently owned and has a team of 7, growing to 8, who all enjoy working together. The business was established over 10 years ago and has, through organic growth year-on-year from professional introducer and client referrals, amassed over £100m of FuM.

They are seeking a Senior IFA Administrator to join their team to act as a lead Administrator, providing excellent administrative support to the Advisors and Paraplanners, plus having an element of workflow management to ensure cases are delegated appropriately.

The business offers truly independent, holistic financial planning and cashflow modelling to clients, which are often HNW and UHNW, many of which being business owners.

You should have a solid understanding of the financial planning industry with awareness of current and previous products, so that you know the right questions to be asking to clients/providers to obtain important information to assist in the delivery of great advice.

Due to the growth plans and how this role fits within the business, they are not looking for someone with the desire to become an Adviser. However, they would support your continued technical knowledge progression and also could see this role leading into a Head of Department type role (such as leading the support team). In addition, they always value their team's input into improving processes and utilising technology.

Senior IFA Administrator Requirements

Ideally, our client is seeking an individual with 10+ years industry experience with knowledge of current and previous product types. You should have excellent experience of administration within an IFA firm, with exposure to multiple platforms and types of financial planning advice. You should have experience of workflow management/delegating cases so that you can have effective oversight of their Administrators.

Senior IFA Administrator Benefits

Salary of circa £40,000 - £45,000 plus bonus scheme upon achieving team goals. 37 hours per week. 28 days annual and statutory leave with the option to purchase an additional 10 days per year. Auto enrolment pension and death in service. Office based role with flexible working, potential for 1 day from home, however the business works collaboratively together in person, with the majority of clients attending their office. Based in Central Birmingham, close to main train stations for commuting.
