Base pay range
Senior IFRS 17 Accountant | £85,000-£95,000 | 12-months FTC | London / Hybrid (2/3 days office based P/W) Our established Lloyd's client are looking for an experienced accountant to join on an initial 12-months FTC based in London. This person will be responsible for the IFRS17 reporting for the group. Key Responsibilities Maintain the integrity of the IFRS17 financial close Ensure alignment between the IFRS17 and UK GAAP ledgers with reconciliation and controls Ensure accuracy and understanding of the quarterly IFRS17 reserving postings Ensure translation into functional and presentational currencies are performed accurately Liaise with the UK GAAP team to understand the numbers/process and proactively manage dependencies on the IFRS17 close Prepare disclosure notes as part of the HO quarterly submissions Provide support to the consolidation process of the group IFRS17 financials on a quarterly and annual basis to HO Oversight and development of key processes for quarterly reporting Meet Head Office reporting timetables Support the UK GAAP reporting team when required Provide analysis and insight into the IFRS17 outputs Developing and maintaining close relationships with key stakeholders including UK GAAP Finance team, Actuarial, Underwriting Performance, Internal and External Auditors Experience & Skills IFRS 17 experience (Preferred) Strong analytical skills Lloyd's experience (Preferred) Seniority level
