You will be welcomed and supported by a large experienced team of Imaging Support Workers. As a new member of the team, you will have the opportunity to train in all modalities across the Imaging group. You will be expected to rotate across all sites supporting Radiologists, Radiographers, and Sonographers.
Once fully trained, you will be expected to participate in the 7-day working rota which will include Bank Holidays and night shifts.
Main duties of the job: We currently provide Imaging services at our new acute Midland Metropolitan University Hospital, City Health Campus, Sandwell Health Campus, Rowley Regis Community Hospital, and Neptune Park Health Centre. The successful candidate will be expected to rotate through all sites. The post will provide opportunities to excel in supporting a wide range of disciplines across the Imaging Group including Ultrasound, Cross-sectional Imaging, and Fluoroscopy.
