The Role - Senior Infrastructure Engineer

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of designing, building and managing high-performance Infrastructure that supports critical mission operations. You’ll work in a dynamic environment, tackling real-world challenges directly and collaborating with Government and Defence organisations. This role is an opportunity to see the tangible impact of your work in fast-paced, high-stakes settings.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and optimise hybrid Cloud IT Infrastructure - Ensure robustness, scalability and high availability by implementing infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and managing configuration changes Troubleshooting and fault resolution - Use logical, systematic approaches to identify and resolve critical issues swiftly Infrastructure deployment - Implement network devices, virtual machines, containers and orchestration workflows using CI/CD pipelines Monitoring and alerting - Create and maintain systems that deliver real-time performance insights for proactive system management Agile and DevOps practices - Promote iterative workflows, cross-functional collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement Secure integration of end-user devices - Build and provision devices for seamless connection with private and public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) Essential Skills and Experience:

Extensive experience as an Infrastructure Engineer with strong knowledge of networking, enterprise operating systems and virtualisation Proficiency in private and public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and automation tools like Terraform or Ansible Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and experience with IaC practices Expertise in Agile and DevOps workflows to enhance collaboration and efficiency Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and attention to detail Knowledge of software-defined networking (SD-WAN) and fault-tolerant systems Experience with hyper-converged infrastructure technologies like VMware vSphere, OpenShift or Linux KVM Why Join?
