Seeking accomplished Inorganic Analytical Chemists, ready to take a step up in seniority! Due to expansion, our client is seeking two Senior Inorganic Analysts to assist in the setup of a brand-new testing service within an established environmental and agrochemical testing laboratory. You will play a key role in the setup of a brand-new ICP-MS system and will hold responsibility for the development and validation of methods, ensuring the service is operational as quickly as possible. Undertaking projects within the water testing industry, you will work with ICP-MS instrumentation alongside other inorganic testing techniques, utilising previous experience to work autonomously, including performing instrument troubleshooting and maintenance. In addition, as a senior member of the team, you will hold responsibility for interpreting data and signing off reports, as well as coordination of work and scheduling across the department. To be considered you must have: A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with ICP-MS instrumentation, or more traditional wet chemistry techniques, ideally within an accredited testing laboratory. The ability to develop or optimise methods on ICP instrumentation. BSc in Chemistry or closely related subject, or equivalent industrial experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
