Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Instrument Designer with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or similar sector of the industry to provide support to our Client in the execution of projects.The Senior Instrument Designer will join a multi-discipline engineering team, supporting Tullow Oil on a hybrid basis in the Glasgow Office.Contributes to engineering excellence by providing the link between engineering design theory and practical application, translating critical design concepts into workable plans for tangible end-products. Qualifications: Minimum ISCED level 5 short-cycle tertiary education in engineering discipline Must have valid Offshore Certs and be willing to go offshore Knowledge, skills and experience: A full understanding of the materials and methods normally used in their discipline An understanding of related engineering principles and practices, plus training and diversified experience in the field of activity is required Capable of interpreting key documents including; engineering standards, material specifications, P&IDs and Line List Competent user of CAD/D software undefined
