Intercompany Royalty Analyst A little bit about our team: MUR stands for Master Use Royalties, which is the intercompany transfer of money and transactional data between Warner Music Group (WMG) companies. The Intercompany Royalty (MUR) team receives sales reporting from WMG affiliates and partners worldwide. Your role: This role involves working with the Intercompany Royalty Manager to assist with the MUR process; analysing transactional and financial data reported by WMG affiliates and licensees to ensure accurate accounting through the MUR system. Here you’ll get to: Monitor all types of sales reporting across WMG and ensure correct intercompany rates. Gain in-depth knowledge of the WMG sales flow from point of sale to onward accounting. Take ownership of suspended transactions and clear errors. Liaise with Product Data Management for correct income allocation. Create queries and reports using Business Objects and Microsoft Excel. Work closely with the International Finance team to book MUR monthly transfer amounts. Maintain and improve manual reporting templates on Microsoft Excel. Become the first point of contact for WMG affiliates, answering queries. Support the Intercompany Royalty Manager with ad-hoc queries.
