*Looking for Full-Time Senior Interior Designers* We are an award winning practice of architecture and interior design specialists working right across the hospitality spectrum. Our creative and friendly team are based in London and work internationally with live projects throughout the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa. We are recruiting for a Senior Interior Designer. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Senior Interior Designer, with hospitality experience including exposure to high-end projects, and ideally available immediately or within a 4 week notice period. Purpose of the role The Senior Interior Designer is expected to lead the design teams on multiple jobs, managing and delegating work amongst team members whilst being the day-to-day point of contact for clients and consultant team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To understand the design project To take responsibility for the development of the design and the project with input from the Associate/Partner in charge for key project stages To prepare, and develop with the team where required, drawings, models, images, material & mood boards and other documents relating to the design To liaise, where appropriate, with members of the external design team and other associated organisations or companies To understand the project budgetary constraints and deliver the project accordingly To understand resource requirements of various stage of a project and report back to Associate/Partner in charge To understand deadlines and program workflows in order to deliver work in a timely manner To ensure compliancy with building regulations and statutory requirements where required To schedule technical QA Reviews and Design Reviews with the Associate in charge for key project stages To implement QA procedures for all design stages, and issue sign off sheets to clients where required Competencies and Skill Set Develop original and creative design concepts and schemes Prepare and develop drawings, models, images, material and mood boards and other related documents to the design Annotate and review technical design drawings Able to handle full set of working drawing with good design detailing experience Design bespoke and customised furniture, joinery and lighting when necessary Strong technical background and well experienced in generating and reviewing design, plus construction drawings Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office Exceptional communication skills and ability to objectively interpret ideas A good eye for graphic design and presentation layout Professional skills Able to lead direction of the design and demonstrate technical competency Possess strong presentation skills in front of clients Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to their role Understand and keep projects within budget and programme Good command of spoken and written English Minimum of six years experience in the interior and architectural industry Represent the practice professionally and create a good impression Develop and foster relations with existing and new potential clients Communicate well with clients and consultants and interpret needs and requirements Be approachable, helpful and sincere Supervisory Responsibility Responsible for delegating work to team members and ensuring that they are properly briefed and monitored to complete tasks within allotted timeframes Travel It is expected that all Senior Interior Designers are prepared to travel for projects, both domestically and internationally If this sounds like you and you are interested in hearing more about this friendly studio and our brilliant projects, please attach your CV & Portfolio via this platform.
