Key Responsibilities: Audit Planning:
Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements. Risk Assessment:
Identify and evaluate key risks within business processes and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies. Process Evaluation:
Analyze and assess business processes to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations. Reporting:
Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, conclusions, and recommendations for management and stakeholders. Follow-Up:
Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and assess their effectiveness over time. Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of continuous improvement and compliance. Qualifications and Skills: Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional Certification:
Part-qualified or fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent. Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably within the financial services sector. Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Communication:
