Here's the exciting bit…a day includes Protect on-shelf store availability on branded Hair, Skin, and Personal Care products. Deliver 95% Distribution Centre availability by ordering the right stock at the right time, pre-empting sales peaks and troughs. Place and control purchase orders with suppliers ensuring stock levels are managed within business budgets, delivering a smooth flow through the DC network. Launch promotional events with enough stock in store vs sales forecast for a healthy store setup to support the strongest sales possible. Support better forecast accuracy both internally and at the supplier. Maintain a rolling collaborative demand forecast ensuring our Buying team and supplier contribute to the plan. Ensure each product is set up correctly to allow it to move smoothly from supplier to warehouse, to store, to customer. Liaise regularly with suppliers to ensure they meet agreed service standards, work through any delivery issues, and align on future risks and opportunities. Report as required on availability, stock levels, and supplier service levels. Work closely with Buying & Merchandising Teams to land strong promotional, seasonal, and new line availability. Assist in driving down the levels of slow-moving stock in the business. Plan, track, trade, and report on key seasonal products. Coordinate new product launches and delists to ensure strong launch of new products and support clean sell-through of old delisted products. What you’ll need to succeed : You will have strong numerical and analytical skills to help deliver first-class availability in our Distribution Centres and stores. You will be confident in communicating with internal and external stakeholders, such as our Buying, Merchandising, Store, and Warehouse/Distribution teams. Relationship building is a key attribute the candidate must be able to demonstrate. We require confidence with IT as much of the job is spent utilizing applications such as Retek. Knowledge of Excel including V-lookups and pivot tables is essential. Previous experience of demand planning, PO, and supplier management.
