Senior IT Advisor

who will join the Desktop / AV team to play a key role in delivering technical support, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring the seamless operation of IT / AV systems across the organization. The role holder will contribute to an effective and professional IT service by: Supporting the function of the team Sharing knowledge and expertise Providing line management where appropriate Essential experience includes: Data centre hardware troubleshooting and maintenance Leading and contributing to projects as a technical lead Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail The successful candidate should hold a degree or recognised IT/Information qualification and/or equivalent relevant experience. They will have the ability to understand and interpret user requirements and provide appropriate advice and guidance. Furthermore, they should also have the ability to organise, prioritise and manage multiple activities at any one time, delivering effectively in a busy environment. Ideally, the successful candidate would have experience of ITIL processes and knowledge of ITSM/ I.T. project management.
