The role… Due to growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior IT Engineer to join our expanding IT Support team. In this varied and fast-paced role, you will work as a key member of the team, responsible for a comprehensive range of third-line support and development activities related to IT and telephone communications. This includes day-to-day operational tasks such as user, infrastructure, and systems support, as well as participation in technical and business change projects. Key responsibilities will include: Providing third-line support to troubleshoot complex end-user issues that cannot be resolved by the IT Helpdesk. Collaborating with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to address Core Infrastructure issues promptly. Working in conjunction with the Head of IT Infrastructure to carry out new business activations processes and procedures from an IT perspective. Conducting any specific project work that is determined as a result of business requirements or core infrastructure changes. Adhering to the ITIL framework within all operational activities to maintain our high-level security standards. Knowledge, skills & experience: We are looking for a helpful, motivated, and proactive individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for IT. You will also need: Prior experience of providing IT support (2nd Line Support etc.). Experience of working with cloud infrastructure. Experience of using remote control desktop applications. Experience of operating within an ITIL framework. Systems Admin experience of Win 7/8/10 and/or Office 365. Knowledge of Azure AD, Automation, Shared scripting, and Data warehouse management is ideal. Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical colleagues. Full driving licence and willingness for UK-wide travel as and when required.
