Senior IT Systems Engineer

to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the stability and growth of our IT infrastructure while working on impactful projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the ongoing performance, security, and availability of our technical environment . Key Responsibilities: Collaborative Planning:

Work with technical engineers to advise on and plan key IT operations including application security, licensing, upgrades, backups, disaster recovery, and server/storage management. Microsoft 365 Expertise:

Provide expert advice and support across the 365 environment (SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Azure, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Platform, and more). Team Leadership & Mentorship:

Lead by example, mentoring junior team members and ensuring high technical standards, including the creation and upkeep of technical documentation. Proactive Monitoring:

Regularly monitor system health and take proactive actions to ensure a stable, secure environment, addressing any issues quickly and efficiently. Project Management:

Lead projects, working closely with business teams to understand their needs and deliver effective IT solutions. Collaboration & Problem-Solving:

Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders to address issues, ensuring a stable environment for the business. On-Call Support : Participate in the rotational on-call support rota, responding to critical issues when needed. About You Proven experience as an IT Systems Engineer, ideally with a background in supporting Microsoft 365 environments. Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to maintaining system performance and security. Experience with disaster recovery, backup solutions, and server management is essential.
