About the Role: We are working with an established software house seeking an experienced Java Developer to join their team on a fully remote basis for a 12-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting projects within a dynamic team, with flexibility and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions using Java and Spring Boot. Design and optimize database queries and structures using SQL. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver project requirements. Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices. Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and tools. Troubleshoot and debug production issues to ensure smooth operation of applications.
Skills and Experience Required: Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot. Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries. Knowledge of software development best practices and methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, especially in a remote setting. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
