About the role The successful Senior Land Manager will be working with us to broaden our land acquisition in our hugely successful North Home Counties Region that is enjoying huge successes currently. What you will do: Responsible for the identification and negotiation of land and development opportunities. Regularly liaising with landowners, agents, and council contacts. Reporting to the Divisional Head of Land, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise and be responsible for the acquisition of sites as laid down in the land purchase programme. Supporting the delivery of key business performance targets. Managing internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure smooth and timely delivery of development projects through to construction. Get involved with bids across all opportunities, including single family build to rent. You will communicate with internal and external parties towards the exchange of contracts and subsequent legal completions. Both short and medium term in line with budget and forecast requirements. What you will have: An innovative and creative approach to problem-solving and deal-making. Ability to build rapport and utilise the network to grow land opportunities. Strong negotiation, communication, numeracy, report writing, data analysis, IT proficiency (including MS Excel), project management and presentation skills. Planning/property-related degree. Experience as a Land Manager with a recognised house builder. Extensive knowledge of new build housing. Ideally RICS qualified. What we will offer you: £Competitive basic salary. Car Allowance.
