The lawyers run a high value Multi Track caseload and deal with all aspects of running a case from initial interview to trial. The disease stream runs cases including workplace upper limb disorder cases involving ergonomically defective workstations or production line processes; cases involving exposure to hazardous substances focusing on asbestos-related lung injury, cancer, and dermatological injury; spinal injuries associated with repetitive manual handling operations; and cases of silicosis and other injuries related to inhalation of respirable crystalline silica (RCS).
Another key element to the role is the implementation of effective and efficient methods of supervision across the team, ensuring delivery of best practice in client care and through motivation and development, full implementation of case management standards across the practice area.
Representing claimants and victims of asbestos exposure, our lawyers demonstrate care, understanding, and sensitivity to clients who are terminally ill or other family members who have been impacted by exposure to asbestos.
We are keen to hear from experienced and compassionate qualified lawyers with a committed background of representing victims of asbestos exposure, matched by a strong track record of litigating Workplace Disease cases, with a special interest in asbestos-related conditions.
As well as a natural ability to provide legal services with a personal touch, demonstrating empathy and a thorough working knowledge and understanding of the issues involved in dealing with Multi Track asbestos cases, such as funding, legal costs, and the litigation process is key. The desire to develop, guide, and supervise our lawyers of the future is also key.
