Lead Infrastructure Engineer - York (Hybrid Role) - £65-70K
I am working with a York based client currently on the market for a new Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer to lead and manage the Infrastructure Team, ensuring reliable and efficient IT operations. This is a very fast-paced environment and a great chance to develop a wide breadth of technical skills!
Responsibilities:
Lead/Manage the Infrastructure Team, ensuring reliable and efficient IT operations.
Act as the Senior Technical Authority, providing guidance on complex technical challenges.
Collaborate with the Projects Team to deliver large-scale IT initiatives (e.g., Windows 11 rollouts, network cutovers, subnet changes).
Oversee system administration, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and virtualization with Hyper-V.
Maintain and optimize networking infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and NAS.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across Windows, Linux, and Mac systems.
Ensure IT systems align with organizational goals, focusing on security, scalability, and performance.
This is a priority hire for the company so will be a speedy process.
