This broad and varied role will provide legal support to the J&J Innovative Medicine UK & Ireland business in all legal matters, both strategic and reactive. It will be based at the company’s offices which are currently in High Wycombe but which will be moving to central Maidenhead in 2026. Major Duties & Responsibilities: Provide strategic and operational day-to-day support for the sales & marketing organization of the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine business. Draft and review a variety of agreements and other general contractual matters, including the creation of templates. Draft and negotiate contracts to support the reimbursement of our products by NHSE or private healthcare providers or insurers. Advise on competition law questions and public procurement law questions. Support internal Healthcare Compliance and Business Compliance functions. Assist with management of disputes and litigation. Provide legal support in relation to the implementation of product divestitures. Engage in training and education efforts including case study-based training to senior leadership. Drive ethical leadership in the organization. Function as a key point of contact for all legal matters impacting the Innovative Medicine businesses in UK&I. Key Qualifications: Solicitor or Barrister qualified in England & Wales. At least 5 years of relevant legal experience in a well-recognized law firm or international company. Experience or strong interest in the healthcare sector. Experience in dealing with commercial law issues. Highly Desirable: Good knowledge of competition law. Good knowledge of public procurement law and process. Experience in large and complex organizations. Candidates should also possess the following skills and capabilities: Can-do mindset and easy to approach. Self-starter with a strong drive for results. Business-oriented with an ability to proactively engage with business colleagues. Good communication and influencing skills. Able to set an example and ensure high ethical, legal and compliance standards.
