Salary: £55K - £80K DOE and PQE
Location: Remote. Offices based in the South West.

This vacancy is suitable for an experienced senior solicitor looking to progress into head of department.
Job Overview You will be managing a caseload of civil and commercial litigation claims with the aim to take over the head of department. This position does NOT involve and Personal Injury or Clinical Negligence claims. You will be joining a busy team of experienced solicitors and paralegals, support is provided. For the right person, there is the opportunity to step into head of department straight away. The firm has offices across the South West but this position can be offered on a remote basis, however you must have prior experience working remotely.

Required experience: * Qualified Solicitor 5+ PQE or CILEx * Experience managing a caseload of commercial & Civil litigation matters. Including, Contested probate, professional negligence, construction/property disputes. * Desire to grow with the firm, progress the department and in your career. * Solid track record of billing. * Strong IT Skills * Confident, motivated, personable. * To work on a remote basis, you must have experience working from home. * Strong background of good length of service in each position. Desired but not essential experience: * Managing a team or experience as head of department. * Any other niche experience you may have which can aid growth and development of the department.
