The Role

As a Senior Logistics Controller, you will oversee, manage, and optimize supply chain operations for both international and domestic logistics. This role demands a deep understanding of international logistics, including import/export regulations, customs procedures, and transportation solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

Building strong relationships with logistics partners, negotiating contracts, and monitoring performance.

Planning and coordinating shipments, including the import of goods from India and domestic storage and transportation.

Developing efficient shipping techniques and processes while ensuring compliance with import/export regulations and health and safety standards.

Managing schedules for inbound and outbound shipments, troubleshooting logistics challenges, and continuously seeking process improvements.

Collaborating closely with Procurement, Sales, Projects, and Contracts teams to align logistics strategies with business needs.

What We’re Looking For

At least 5 years in international logistics management, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

Proven track record handling heavy and break-bulk cargo, particularly from the Far East/India, and knowledge of domestic road haulage.

IT skills (including Microsoft Excel), experience with ERP/MRP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics), and outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a keen eye for detail, and demonstrate flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs.
