As a Senior Backend Developer, you’ll be at the heart of crafting high-performing systems, ensuring seamless integrations, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

What You’ll Do:

Architect, develop, and maintain custom Magento 2 modules and extensions to meet business requirements Work with APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations to ensure seamless data flow and functionality Optimise Magento 2 backend performance, including database queries, caching strategies, and load times Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, ensuring platform stability and scalability. Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and project managers to deliver complete, polished ecommerce solutions Ensure code quality through best practices, peer reviews, and automated testing. Stay current with the latest Magento features and updates, implementing them as needed Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and technical expertise to elevate the team’s output What We’re Looking For

Extensive experience in Magento 2 backend development, including custom module development and system architecture. Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and Magento’s ORM. Expertise in Magento’s API frameworks (REST and GraphQL). Solid understanding of server-side performance optimisation, including database indexing, caching (Redis, Varnish), and scalable architecture. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. A strong grasp of development principles and design patterns. Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills. Experience working with Elasticsearch for Magento 2

Magento 2 Certification Familiarity with headless Magento setups using GraphQL Knowledge of cloud hosting environments Hands-on experience with tools like New Relic for performance monitoring What’s in it for you?
