What You Will Do: Lead and coordinate the Shift Engineering Team, ensuring the delivery of shift activity as planned and reacting proactively to on-shift situations. Uphold the highest standards of safety and quality, ensuring product quality through appropriate maintenance activities. Develop and support planned maintenance activities that drive continuous improvement in asset reliability. Contribute to the site capital investment programme, identifying areas for improvement including energy usage, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements. Manage contractor control and permit systems, ensuring adherence to stock control policies. Play a pivotal role in people development, identifying skills gaps, and contributing to the development of training plans. What You Will Bring: An Indentured Apprenticeship and an ONC/HNC within an Engineering Discipline. Over 5 years of experience within the FMCG environment, with bottling experience being a significant advantage. A profound understanding of techniques that drive the reliability of assets and a commitment to continuous personal and process improvement. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a problem-solving ability and a right first-time attitude. A good base knowledge of process control systems and basic computer skills, coupled with a willingness to embrace new technology.
