What You'll Be Doing: Senior Maintenance Engineer Frontline Leadership:
Guide shift engineers and act as the first point of contact for production issues. Reduce Downtime:
Direct the team to address mechanical and electrical issues efficiently. Plan & Prioritise:
Organise workloads to minimise unplanned downtime and maintain production flow. Mentor & Lead:
Inspire and support the team to develop their skills and achieve their potential. Promote Safety:
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, including permit-to-work compliance. Enhance Performance:
Encourage a first-fix culture and continuous improvement in processes. Main Responsibilities: Senior Maintenance Engineer Lead the engineering team to create a motivated, high-performing culture. Execute planned preventative maintenance to maximise machinery uptime. Ensure compliance with legislation to maintain a safe working environment. Uphold good manufacturing practices (GMP) and food safety standards. Ensure accurate documentation and effective use of CMMS for shift activities. Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns with a fix-first-time mindset. What We're Looking For: Senior Maintenance Engineer Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and guide a team. Technical Expertise:
Strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with experience in fault-finding. Compliance Knowledge:
Familiarity with GMP and relevant health and safety standards. Problem Solver:
