£54,000 + overtime + additional benefits.

Working Hours: 2x weeks of days: Monday - Thursday, 6:30am to 3:30pm / Friday 6:30am - 12:30pm 2x weeks of nights: Monday - Thursday, 7:30pm - 6:00am.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join a successful, progressive manufacturing business with a long-standing presence in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.

Role Description:

Ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems, plant, and equipment on site. Oversee and carry out routine & PPM electrical maintenance work, promptly responding to electrical faults or breakdowns. Oversee and conduct electrical inspections on key plant equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Devise and implement a comprehensive preventative electrical maintenance program. Install new electrical parts ensuring systems are functioning correctly after repairs. Maintain and promote a safe electrical working environment, following all safety rules and regulations. Ensure team compliance with electrical safety standards. Work to reduce unexpected breakdown hours due to missed preventive maintenance. Ensure compliance with Electrical Standards. Ensure adherence to regulations (e.g., IEE Wiring Regulations, OSHA) during maintenance work. Manage maintenance costs vs budget, ensuring adherence to allocated maintenance budget. Management of a small team of maintenance engineers.

Skills and Qualifications: Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineering skills. Electrically Qualified (Level 3+) or Time Served background. Senior Engineer, Engineering Team Leader or Management experience. Strong fault-finding capability. Experience of working within a manufacturing environment or other industrial context. Strong communication skills.
