Knowledge and Experience
Working in a management accounting environment Producing monthly management accounts to deadlines Preparing year-end management accounts in line with audit requirements A high level of knowledge of management accounting techniques Highly developed specialist accounting knowledge Working with non-financial managers to provide financial information and advice Working with computerised finance systems and Excel Practical experience of implementing advanced management accounting techniques with minimal supervision Experience of managing a small team Working within finance in the NHS Skills and Abilities
Professional approach and ability to work pro-actively and in an organised manner Ability to analyse and interpret complex financial information Ability to manage and motivate a small team Ability to lead and contribute to meetings with senior managers Qualifications and Training
