Main duties of the job As Senior Management Accountant, your key responsibilities will include: Manage and oversee the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts by liaising with relevant Directors and Heads of Department for Central Services, ensuring that these are accurate and produced within agreed timetables. The Senior Management accountant will play a key role in leading the Finance team's work on new tenders and new business opportunities for WithYou. The role will manage and oversee the preparation of budgets for new tenders and business opportunities, acting as the main point of contact for these teams and taking ownership of the financial tendering process, as well as developing new financial models for tendering and bespoke projects. An important part of this role will be to provide a summary of tenders and any risks or opportunities to the Head of Finance, prior to bid. Person Specification Qualifications Essential Fully qualified with CCAB body or appropriate experience Should you be successful in your application, you will be required to provide 3 years' worth of references and where applicable, will need to undergo a DBS check. Experience Essential Experience of financial business and management support, including for tendering or other competitive/commercial activities Knowledge and understanding of management accounting systems and processes Sound judgement and logical decision making skills Proven stakeholder management experience, as a commercial, credible and assertive subject matter expert, with the ability to influence at all levels The drive and passion to create positive business outcomes, often under tight deadlines An approachable and resilient approach, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
