As a Management Accountant, you will be at the heart of our financial operations for an entire division in the group. You will play a pivotal role in supporting decision-making and driving continued business success. Preparing & presenting comprehensive monthly management accounts with variance analysis and insights for a key division within the group, alongside developing budgeting and forecasting processes to enhance financial planning. You will provide strategic financial analysis to support decision-making, collaborating with department heads to achieve financial targets and KPIs, and producing and presenting KPI reports to senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and present accurate monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary for the entire division within the Group. Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning. Provide strategic financial analysis to assist business decisions and performance improvement. Collaborate with departmental heads to ensure financial targets & KPI’s are met and understood. Production of KPI packs and presenting to senior stakeholders. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Lead and mentor junior management accountant, promoting professional development. Business partner directly with Retail & Commercial teams, providing support and financial insight on a regular basis. Assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts and facilitate the external audit process. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Key Requirements: ACA Qualified accountant. Strong communication skills and the ability to integrate seamlessly into the team. Ideally exposure to IFRS9 and/or Financial Services background. Commitment to delivering high-quality finance services. Attention to detail and ability to present work clearly and concisely. Effective communication of financial information through reports and in meetings. Efficient time management skills, particularly under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Ability to collaborate effectively and build relationships with multiple stakeholders.
