Robertson Bell are excited to partner with a community-based housing association, to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a permanent basis. In this role you will be managing a variety of different responsibilities, including preparing the full cycle of management accounts and managing a vast network of budget holders. In this Senior Management Accountant role, you will: Take full responsibility in the management accounts cycle, making sure to prepare commentary in addition to this. Assist and train one person that would report into you, making sure to not only impart your knowledge to them Taking the lead for the budgeting and forecasting process for a group of subsidiaries. Have responsibility for statutory accounting including liaising with auditors, managing VAT and overseeing the fixed asset register. Use excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with budget holders. Based in Hertfordshire, the successful candidate will enjoy a great working culture, in addition to a 2 day in the office working pattern, aiding any candidate in achieving that ideal work life balance. Reporting to a progressive and development based Head of Finance, this role is aimed at assisting the selected candidate in growing their own career. The ideal candidate will have: Strong experience in the management accounts. High quality communication skills to interact with stakeholders. The ability to prepare journals and accruals within an accountancy function. The skills to work independently and as a part of a team.
