The Sr. Manager, Intelligence will support the analytical, programmatic, and management needs of client engagements. The Sr. Manager will work directly with their Director and the EIS team to oversee and produce analysis addressing client-specific requirements, manage client engagements, lead intelligence analyst and manager teams, and provide subject matter expertise in support of EIS business development.
The Sr. Manager will be located at Crisis24's London or Bournemouth, UK office. The Sr. Manager will be available to travel to client locations as needed. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required on a case-by-case basis.
What You Will Work On
Lead, plan, implement and manage multiple complex client solutions
Manage the production of major projects involving multiple analysts as well as in-depth and complex analysis through the intelligence cycle; including gathering, assessing, and disseminating analysis on the nature of global security threats, the likelihood that they will affect the client's travelers, assets, and operations, and what the likely effects are
Quality assurance of client-specific products and services produced by intelligence analysts and managers to ensure they fulfill the client's requirements and meet EIS analytic standards
Provide constructive feedback to managers and analysts on their work product which can include: Travel Threat Assessments, Location Threat Assessments (Neighborhood-, City-, or Country-level), Site Threat Assessments, Event Threat Assessments, Requests for Intelligence, Daily Incident Assessments or Intelligence Products, Threat Forecasting, Scenario Forecasting, Social Media Monitoring, and Online Exposure Assessments
Perform and guide analysts and managers on open-source intelligence collection and analysis of regional trends and events to provide timely, comprehensive, customized intelligence products to decision makers
Actively monitor and assist managers and analysts with monitoring open-source media, third-party subscription services, and other sources in real-time for issues that could affect business operations and personnel
Serve as the internal and external POC for EIS team with assigned clients as well as other Crisis24 business units
Work with client stakeholders effectively and efficiently
Liaise with the client to better understand their requirements and concerns
Understand the client's footprint and interests to anticipate client needs
Suggest to clients potential improvements to the intelligence program and facilitate their implementation
Manage client expectations by understanding the EIS team and Crisis24's product offerings and services
Meet with existing or potential clients to portray EIS capabilities and develop opportunities
Scope the analytic portion of new or potential client engagements to assist with sales and writing proposals
Be consistently engaged on a daily basis with teammates
Ensure scheduling of personnel meets company and client missions
Mentor and train analysts and managers on team; provide learning and growth opportunities, constructive feedback and recognition
Ensure team is meeting administrative requirements; timecard submissions, expense reporting, training requirements, ISO 27001 requirements
Contribute to and maintain SOPs for EIS
Track staff production metrics and analyze them to demonstrate client program production and insights, as well as efficiency and resource management
Engage in cross-project analysis, including consistent sharing of information between analyst teams
Work with other corporate units and departments to improve the customer experience and ensure high quality standards for intelligence produced
Work to resolve interpersonal or task challenges
Proactively effect change within team and across unit to meet company's directives and goals
Conceptualize, develop, and propose to management business or intelligence initiatives to support departmental growth
Internal/External publications, webinars, presentations, SME engagements
Maintain effective relationships with Intelligence, Security, Travel and Risk professional associations and societies and represent EIS at external forums
Be able to calculate ROI of products, processes, services with reports on how to improve efficiencies or contribute to revenue
Who You Will Work With
Under the general direction of the Director, Embedded Intelligence Services (EIS), the Sr. Manager will lead multiple intelligence professionals at different levels in their career, from entry-level analysts to experienced managers. The Sr. Manager will also work closely with assigned client stakeholders, the wider EIS team, and Crisis24 account managers and sales team members. The Sr. Manager will also further Crisis24 initiatives with counterparts across many Crisis24 divisions.
What You Will Bring
Master’s degree or equivalent experience required
8+ years of intelligence analysis, enterprise risk management or a related field required.
Project management and/or risk management certifications preferred (PMP, CPP, etc.).
Excellent intelligence research, analytic, writing and briefing skills and the ability to lead training for analysts on these topics
Extensive knowledge of analytic techniques and tradecraft, including the intelligence cycle
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to lead training for analysts and managers in this area
Extensive customer service experience in a client-facing role
Experience overseeing analysts' and managers' work and ensuring analysis meets company standards required
Demonstrated ability to manage personnel
Demonstrated client interface and management skills
Demonstrated ability to provide constructive feedback
Ability to organize and prioritize work with little supervision
Ability to adhere to timelines and deadlines with effective time management skills
Subject matter expertise in a location, security-related topic, or analytic process preferred
Foreign language and travel experience required; proficiency in a second language desirable
Ability to assess risks and utilize problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; knowledge of PowerBI preferred
Knowledge of Google Earth and Maps
Potential to manage 12+ direct and indirect team members
