Senior Manager, Internal Audit – London, UK Position & Team Overview/Highlights: The Senior Audit Manager will work as part of the Internal Audit team that covers end to end processes in the Global Banking & Markets and Treasury business lines and assist the Head of Audit UK and the Chief Auditor, Europe in assessing the effectiveness of controls in front / middle / back offices and other functions that support these business lines. The Senior Manager contributes to the overall success of the Audit Department in Europe ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. The Senior Manager will be required to have strong capital markets and treasury product knowledge, good knowledge of market risk management techniques, operational processes and controls, and a good understanding and knowledge of UK and EU regulatory environment. What You’ll Do: Lead the execution, planning, and reporting on the assigned audit projects. Execute and manage assigned activities independently. Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive and strategic audit plan. Support continuous auditing and monitoring, identifying emerging risks/themes within the audit universe and assessing impact on audit plan. Provide guidance and coaching to staff. What You’ll Bring: Proficiency at applying risk-based auditing standards, practices, techniques, processes and methodologies to the performance and review of audits. Strong capital markets and treasury product knowledge. Good knowledge of market risk management techniques, operational processes and controls. A good understanding and knowledge of UK and EU regulatory environment. Requires an undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting or equivalent at a minimum. Interested?
