In this team, we support the Group with identifying and executing on acquisition opportunities and other inorganic growth initiatives. This role is focused on driving growth for the Professional Services division within Evelyn Partners.As a Senior Manager in the team, some of your responsibilities will include:Take full ownership of all delegated or assigned tasks and produce high quality work within the timescales requiredDesign and implement schedules and timetables for a transaction including thinking in advance of the next steps in the transactionMaintain a database / key lists of potential targets and regularly updating the target pipelineSupport the team lead with building relationships with brokers and M&A advisersProject manage deals end-to-end, ensuring rigorous monitoring of workstreams, keeping track of progress, issues & action lists and reporting upwards regularlyProduce key deal deliverables including offer letters, deal valuation models, Executive Committee approval papers, etc.Work with other team members (delegating where appropriate) to deliver assigned project workBuild relationships with multiple internal due diligence / functional teams and liaise regularly in order to track progress, identify and resolve deal issuesKeep team leader and team manager fully informed of progress and status of assigned workCoach, mentor and support junior members of the teamQualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have:Significant corporate finance or deal environment experience gained within a professional or financial services firmRelevant professional qualification Corporate Finance Qualification or Chartered AccountantThorough knowledge of the structure of a deal and the commercial and technical issuesFinancial Modelling - clear understanding of financial / valuation models and their context and impactAbility to apply financial principles to financial modelsAnalysis and interpretation of financial informationReport writing – drafting reports for review with proficient Powerpoint skillsAdvanced use of Word, Excel and PowerPointConfident and enthusiastic in dealings with internal/external deal stakeholdersEnergetic and willing to take responsibility for getting their allocated tasks completed to a high standard within deadlinesAdditional InformationAs a colleague here at Evelyn Partners, you will have access to benefits that include:Competitive salaryPrivate medical insuranceLife assurancePension contributionHybrid working model (role dependant)Generous holiday packageOption to purchase additional holidayShared parental leaveWe are proud to value the differences that a diverse workforce brings, representative of society and our clients.
