Job summary – What to expect: As the Senior Manager Oracle Inventory and Supply Chain Functional Track Lead, you will carry out a functional leading role by providing Oracle functional track leadership through managing resources and ensuring completion of deliverables and tasks for all aspects of the global Oracle ERP program (OneVision) within the Inventory and Supply Chain areas of accountability. You will provide architectural guidance to your immediate team, partners with business and service integrator resources to define the best solution to CooperVision’s requirements, directing resources assigned to the specific functional track. Specifically you will: Research, communicate and demonstrate “best practice” opportunities for the local/regional organization, allowing key decision makers and local/regional managers the opportunity to leverage “best practice” as a strategic and competitive advantage for the organization. Play an active leadership role in the design process in refining our business process to take advantage of Oracle’s and the integrated system’s capabilities. Design, recommend, and evaluate proposed architecture and integration solutions in and out of the ERP within functional areas of accountability. Work closely with other track leads (cross-track) to formulate the best overall solutions. Conduct deep dive reviews within and across teams to ensure cohesion within the overall solution. Responsible for planning and executing a significant portion of the global ERP implementation, in partnership with our chosen ERP solution integrator and business process leaders (3-in-a-box). Develop mastery of Oracle ERP capabilities and the capabilities of the set of systems in CooperVision’s specific production ecosystem (within functional area of accountability). Ensure multiple phases of the program are scoped, defined, resourced, and delivered to support objectives of the overall ERP program. Constantly monitor the progress of the team and make timely corrective actions to ensure risks and issues are being avoided. Prepare and communicate status to stakeholders and project/program leaders in a regular and meaningful cadence. Partner with IT Leadership team to develop a plan for internal IT and business teams to become self-sufficient in ERP skills and knowledge. Experience managing applications and projects using a structured systems methodology and IT general controls framework. Experience managing a diverse team of individuals located across geographies; experience working in a cross-disciplinary environment with strong opinions and personalities. Participate in defining site cutover plan to ensure limited business interruption. Define Functional, Systems Integration and regression testing efforts. Communicate needed changes to internal and supplier development teams. Manage to the standard CooperVision global release cycle, including analysis, design, test, implementation, support and documentation. About you: We are looking for a leader with the ability to demonstrate sound judgement and decision making. In addition you will have the following: Proven experience in a Senior leadership role with responsibility for global enterprise systems teams and external partners. Ideally you will have experience managing a globally dispersed team. Extensive global Oracle ERP implementation experience – manufacturing and/or distribution environment focus. Thorough understanding and knowledge of Global Oracle ERP implementations, Transformation programs with large scale change, In depth Oracle R12 knowledge in core functions related to area of accountability. Advantageous to have knowledge within Inventory and Supply Chain through understanding the business process.
