Voi was founded in 2018 with a vision to create cities made for living, free from noise and pollution. Our mission is to provide everyone with affordable and easy-to-use micromobility options, thereby reducing reliance on cars and contributing to the fight against climate change. Currently operating in 12 countries and more than 100 cities, Voi is on an amazing growth and profitability journey, and we’re currently looking for a Senior Market Development Manager for the UK. In the UK we will soon operate in 18 towns and cities including Cambridge, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Liverpool, London, Northampton, Oxford, Portsmouth and Southampton. We have ambitious plans for further growth across the UK. We are looking for a smart, dedicated and driven leader to join us on our mission - creating safe, sustainable and reliable micromobility for everyone.

This is a chance to leave your mark. Ready to embark? YOUR MISSION AT VOI The Senior Market Development Manager, UK will build and develop highly effective, trusted and resilient relationships with local decision makers and public transport authorities. These relationships are critical to cementing and growing Voi’s position as the leading responsible operator in safety, sustainability, accessibility and inclusivity. You would report to the Head of Public Policy. The next few years will be an exciting time at Voi due to a new government keen to advance e-scooter trials and the growing interest from towns and cities looking to introduce shared e-bikes and e-scooter schemes of their own. Voi is keen that they choose us as the leading provider. If successful with your application you would lead efforts to expand to additional UK towns and cities. Lead Voi’s market development activities by engaging cities on the opportunities of shared micromobility including e-bikes and e-scooters. Build strong relationships with key decision makers. Represent Voi in stakeholder meetings, acting as a key relationship holder for UK towns and cities considering their transport options. Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential opportunities. Analyse industry trends, competitor activity and city needs. Administer effective information management and knowledge sharing. Develop and execute pitch decks and supporting material. Lead pre-tender engagement, tender bids and written submissions for the UK team. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO EMBARK At Voi, you’ll come across new opportunities regularly. We’re operating in uncharted territory. Having proven previous experience and a record of problem solving will prove valuable along the way. Required 6+ years of experience working in close, regular contact with a range of stakeholders, and effectively managing those relationships. Experience of close engagement with elected councillors and their officers. Impeccable written and verbal communication skills. The ability to confidently and persuasively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, adapting depending on your audience and setting. A proven history of achieving market development / business growth. Strong project management and organisational skills. The ability to juggle a range of different tasks and responsibilities. The ability to prioritise opportunities and to allocate resources effectively. Desired Demonstrable interest in transport, sustainability and/or cities. Proficiency in CRM software.
