We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Executive to join the team to undertake and champion the marketing activities for IFE and IFE Manufacturing, part of Food, Drink & Hospitality Week. We are looking for someone already operating at Senior Marketing Executive level within exhibitions, or a Marketing Executive ready to take their next step up. Reporting into the Portfolio Marketing Manager, and working closely with the Marketing Executive, the role’s key responsibility will be attracting the correct visitors and exhibitors to attend these events, providing the best possible return-on-investment for exhibitors and the best experience for visitors through effective marketing – website content, email, social networks, PPC etc. THE KEY ASPECTS OF THE ROLE Plan, coordinate, implement & monitor marketing communication activities to ensure deadlines are met within budget and in-line with the event marketing goals. Achieve brand awareness and visitor acquisition targets for the event and brand. Be responsible for the client/product marketing function, including digital and lead generation acquisition for the brand. Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including designers, creative agencies, PR, registration etc. Work closely with the digital agency to maximise customer acquisition and lead generation through paid search, display and paid social campaigns. Be responsible for evaluating campaigns and making future recommendations. Support website tracking to improve reporting and analysis abilities. Update and design website pages. Act as brand champion, ensuring adoption of best practice, cross-promotion and knowledge of the industry over time. Track industry and marketing developments, reporting findings to all stakeholders. Track and report regularly on campaign results (print, digital, social, PPC/SEO, contras) identifying successes and areas for improvement. Manage and track agreed marketing spend for the brand. Have a consistent oversight of campaign and the stages to ensure a smooth and effective delivery. Produce and compile campaign activity reports. Produce sales collateral including but not limited to case studies, whitepapers and presentations. Support the sales team with queries, emails, and lead generation. Attend any other competitive and industry events as necessary. SKILLS A strong understanding of digital systems, best practices, and measurement tools. Comprehensive knowledge of how to use and write copy for digital platforms. Good experience of using digital platforms to build emails, website pages etc. Ability to deliver quality work in a fast paced, high-volume, deadline driven environment. Capable of managing a full campaign from start to finish. Confident in managing multiple projects under tight deadlines and accommodating rapid changes. Ability to multitask numerous projects throughout the event cycle. A team player that is happy to collaborate on projects with others. Great time management and organisational skills. Strong marketing experience working on a multifaceted campaign covering all elements of the marketing mix. Confident communicator in all mediums – written, face-to-face & on the phone. Strong Microsoft Office Skills required. Creatively minded with a passion for discovering new ways to approach the marketing requirements of the events.
