Giancarlo and his partner Katie have authored over 19 books, blending their passion for food, Italian culture, and teaching. As part of our ambition to grow the Caldesi brand and connect with a wider audience across London and beyond, we’re seeking a creative, driven, and proactive Marketing Executive who understands how to navigate the hospitality industry and leverage the most effective marketing strategies and social media tools. Salary range: £30,000-£35,000 Per Annum (depending on experience) What you’ll do; As a Marketing Executive for Caldesi Restaurants and Cookery School, you will ideally possess at

least 4 years in the relevant industry

and play a key role in building and maintaining the brand’s reputation while driving engagement and sales. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Brand Development & Strategy Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement creative marketing strategies to grow brand awareness, footfall, and engagement. Identify new opportunities to position Caldesi as a leading name in the hospitality and culinary world. Create compelling campaigns to promote cookery classes, restaurant events, book launches, and seasonal menus. Ensure all branding is consistent across physical and digital channels. Content Creation & Social Media Management Manage and grow Caldesi’s social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Develop engaging and visually appealing social media content, including images, videos, and copy, tailored to each platform. Plan, shoot, and edit video content such as cooking demonstrations, behind-the-scenes footage, and promotional campaigns. Organise and oversee professional photoshoots for key marketing assets, ensuring a consistent look and feel for the brand. Engage with online communities, responding to comments and messages to build strong relationships with followers and customers. Event Marketing & PR Work closely with the team to market special events, collaborations, and book launches. Build and maintain relationships with relevant journalists, bloggers, and influencers to drive PR coverage for Caldesi. Plan and execute email marketing campaigns to promote events, seasonal menus, and cookery school courses. Develop partnerships with like-minded brands, organisations, and communities to co-market events or campaigns. Data-Driven Marketing Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools to assess engagement, reach, and ROI. Use data insights to inform future marketing strategies and optimise content and campaigns. Regularly report to the management team on progress, successes, and opportunities for improvement. Advertising & Paid Media Manage digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.) to increase bookings for restaurants and cookery classes. Design and implement paid social media strategies to maximise visibility and engagement. On-Site Marketing & Customer Experience Collaborate with restaurant managers to ensure consistent promotion of new menus, offers, and events on-site. Develop marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, and promotional signage for use in the restaurants and cookery school. Work on enhancing the customer journey by integrating personalised marketing techniques where possible. Act as a liaison between chefs, the management team, and external creatives to execute cohesive marketing strategies. Assist with ad-hoc tasks related to marketing, PR, and administrative support as required. What we’re looking for Proven experience in marketing, ideally within the hospitality industry or a related field. Exceptional knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and strategies. Creative and organised, with an eye for design and attention to detail. Proficiency in video editing and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, or similar). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. A passion for photography is a plus! Industry experience of minimum 2 years.
