Working within the Marketing and Student Recruitment team, the Senior Marketing Manager will develop the recruitment campaign marketing strategy for all levels of study - undergraduate, postgraduate taught, Research degrees and CPD - full time, part time and distance learning.

Description As the Senior Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the following: Developing the recruitment campaign marketing strategy for all levels of study. Implementing competitive, innovative, multi-channel campaigns, recruitment events and initiatives to support the University's strategic recruitment and awareness objectives. Working with stakeholders across the University and utilising the University's CRM to manage all campaign activity, including the collection, management and conversion of prospective student leads against target. Leading on the analysis and reporting of campaign performance, utilising all available data sources across the prospective student journey, identifying key conversion activities, areas for development and return on investment.

Profile The successful Senior Marketing Manager will have/be: Demonstrable experience within a similar role - within Higher Education, or an agency who has worked with Higher Education institutions. HE experience is essential. Demonstrable evidence of leading successful paid media campaigns with external agencies. A good knowledge and hands on capability of CRM systems and utilisation. High level verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and represent the Service and the University. People leadership experience.

Job Offer Portsmouth based - 3 days per week on campus, 2 days from home. £45,163 - £55,295. Generous leave entitlement of 32-35 days a year, plus bank holidays, and an additional Christmas closure.
