Our client in the global IT services and consulting industry is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Marketing Operations with the ability to manage the successful integration of marketing functions, systems, and processes following a merger or acquisition. You will be adept at managing external agencies as well as building collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across business functions to understand dependencies and secure buy-in to change. What you will do: Oversee the planning and execution of initial phases to shape the future structure and operational framework of the Marketing function. Ensure all marketing operations align with ISO compliance and GDPR/privacy standards, including consolidating systems and access management protocols. Review processes and ways of working for Marketing and Business Development, including handoff to Sales and interaction with other functions across three existing businesses, and recommend aligned best practices for a future integrated function. Develop the UK Marketing Handbook to ensure consistency and best practice across teams. Review vendor MDF and co-op funding processes across three businesses to recommend how to streamline and consolidate efforts in the future. Evaluate existing marketing processes for automation opportunities, enhancing efficiency. Work with external HubSpot specialist agency and internal colleagues to ensure data workflows and processes are fit for purpose ahead of any data integration. Document and share best practices for marketing operations processes during M&A integrations. Work with the Digital Marketing specialist and IT to integrate new tools or processes into the tech stack post-acquisition. Qualifications
Extensive experience in marketing operations, preferably in the B2B technology sector. Expertise in integrating CRM and marketing tools (HubSpot and D365, ideally). Strong understanding of compliance standards, including ISO and GDPR. Proven ability to manage cross-functional collaboration with legal, IT, and finance teams. Excellent process management and documentation skills. Additional Information
