Operating for over 45 years, this company provides complete Mechanical and Electrical services across all sectors of the construction industry including Industrial, Logistics, Food, Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Mining, Healthcare, Commercial, Hotel & Leisure, High-End Residential, Public, and Energy. With a very healthy order book for the coming 12 months, they are now recruiting for a highly skilled andexperienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Job Overview: As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cost and commercial management of M&E projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Review construction information (Contract Documents) Review and understand tender information and tender Bills of Quantities Prepare Cost Plans in-line with Commercial Standard Operating Procedure Report on Cost Plans monthly internally, highlighting any potential issues Procure all major supplier and sub-contractor packages in-line with Commercial SOP Prepare & Submit Monthly Interim Valuations Prepare/ Submit Sub-Contract documents to Sub-Contractors in-line with Commercial SOP Issue all Main Contract Documents / Collateral Warranties up the line for review Track Labour hours on each project and highlight any potential issues Audit Sub-Contractor applications for payment (Valuations) and prepare pay-less notices to each where applicable Audit sub-contractor variations monthly Review Site Programmes regularly with respect to delays, disruption and programme Attend internal and external commercial meetings as required Respond to all letters in a fitting and contractual manner to ensure the companies position is always protected Create and maintain Sharepoint document management system as appropriate Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures as required.
