Senior Mechanical Design Engineer focuses on design and development of airframe structural components and assemblies.

What the role involves

• Design and development of airframe structural components and assemblies.
• Creation of 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings using CATIA 3DX.
• Supporting structural integration, packaging and installation activities.
• Supporting prototype build, testing and validation activities.
• Supporting configuration control and engineering release processes.
• Ensure designs comply with aerospace engineering standards and best practice.

Skills and requirements

• CATIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.
• Proven aerospace mechanical design experience within airframe structures.
• High level proficiency with CATIA 3DX is essential.
• Experience working within aerospace, aviation, UAV or eVTOL sectors.
