Experience designing mechanical components and systems Experience in a major CAD system (e.g. CATIA V5), producing detailed drawings to a high standard with the correct application of GD&T as necessary Sound theoretical and practical approach to engineering solutions The ability to integrate and work closely with other disciplines, as well as to be keen to adapt and develop in areas outside your personal knowledge Preparation of BOM’s and other project documents to fulfil project and process requirements Experience in supporting the development of junior team members A background in automotive or aerospace design Experience in dealing directly with customers and suppliers The ability to work with skilled technicians to support the build and development of parts, sub-assemblies and vehicle builds Experience of rig and vehicle testing for development and sign off Knowledge of simulation tools and using them to accelerate development What can we offer you?
