A rapidly growing supplier of special purpose machinery to the nuclear sector is looking for a number of Mechanical Design Engineers (Senior roles are available). The business has experience on every licensed nuclear site in the UK and is involved in projects from design concept right through to manufacturing and subsequent commissioning.
The Role
As one of their Mechanical Design Engineers, you'll be responsible for engineering concepts and solutions. This will include producing engineering design and documentation whilst progressing, depending on your experience level, small and medium-sized engineering projects. A Senior Mechanical role would include significant amounts of client/project work as well.
You
To succeed in the role of Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll need to have experience in a mechanical design-focused role with 3D CAD experience (ideally SolidWorks). Any experience of working on special purpose machinery (or similar) will certainly hold you in good stead.
The Package
As a Mechanical Design Engineer within this business, you'll receive a salary of up to £54,000 and other benefits including pension (6% employer contribution), private medical insurance, 25 days' (plus bank holidays) and flexible working. In addition, the company is committed to both training and development along with career progression.
