Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and developing mechanical systems for pharmaceutical and clean room projects. Proficiency in Revit is essential, as you will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate 3D models and construction documents. Key Responsibilities: Lead the mechanical design process for pharmaceutical and clean room projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Develop and produce detailed 3D models, drawings, and specifications using Revit. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and project managers, to deliver integrated design solutions. Conduct technical analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for mechanical systems. Oversee the preparation of project documentation, including design calculations, reports, and presentations. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and site visits as required. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure innovative and efficient design solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on pharmaceutical and clean room projects. Proficient in Revit with a strong understanding of BIM (Building Information Modelling) processes. In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems relevant to pharmaceutical and clean room environments. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including ASHRAE, GMP, and ISO. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
