Key Responsibilities of this Senior Mechanical Engineer role include:
Lead and manage the mechanical engineering aspects of building services projects from concept through to completion. Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure seamless integrated design and project success. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and teams. Act as a key point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring project requirements are met. Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
Skills and Experience Required: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Chartered status is advantageous). At least 5 years of experience in building services engineering, including senior-level responsibilities. Strong expertise in building regulations and sustainable practices. Proven experience in project management and client-facing roles. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Reside in or near to Leeds.
