Senior Mechanical Engineer Position Overview Manage projects effectively to ensure that the co-ordination of technical elements is achieved to meet project targets. Provide full line management responsibilities for the Mechanical team supporting the growth and development of our junior, intermediate, and senior engineers. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with legal and technical regulations, codes of practice, or guidelines. Ensure that the designs are delivered within the planned programme for projects and that the designs are within budget. Provide exceptional proficiency in mechanical building services design, and a deep comprehension of technical requirements, legislation, and industry best practice. Exhibit a strong commercial acumen and exercise financial oversight, monitoring project expenditure against established targets.
Senior Mechanical Engineer Position Requirements Professionally qualified to degree level or equivalent. Ideally professionally registered with CIBSE and/or IET. Prior experience in a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role working within another consultancy in the built environment.
