Key Responsibilities of a Senior Mechanical Engineer:
Develop cutting-edge designs for complex hydraulic and electrical systems, ensuring all technical and quality standards are met. Conduct detailed technical investigations, evaluate options, perform supporting calculations, and prepare comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations. Create technical drawings, general assembly diagrams, and bills of materials to support the engineering process. Stay abreast of industry trends and contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment where they can thrive and grow. Analyse and communicate project risks and technical challenges, providing clear feedback to the Program Team. Support patent writing and ensure the overall system design complies with intrinsic standards.
