A leading nuclear engineering company is looking for a senior mechanical engineer to join the team on a long term contract basis for some of their most exciting projects in the nuclear space.
Job Role - Senior Mechanical Engineer Location - Cumbria Contract Length - 12 Months Pay Rates - Up To £60 Hour Umbrella
This role will be perfect for a well experienced and knowledgeable Senior mechanical engineer who has vast time spent in the highly regulated fields and sectors associated. Key Competencies/Experiences:
Review, Produce and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, design basisdocumentation and technical reports as assigned. Assess all changes and implications of changes and concession queries Ensure all the design intent and integrity is maintained throughout the design lifecycle Ensure all technical issues are evaluated and communicated to the wider team to ensure problems can be solved accordingly. Provide any required support to the PM and Planning control team Ensure the health and safety is followed at all times Experience in managing the engineering scope for projects from conceptual design to full engineering.
Essential Qualifications:
Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering, or equivalent experience.in relevant engineering discipline (demonstrable experience) Chartered (Desired) Vast knowledge in nuclear/defence projects
